FIRST LOOK: ERNESTO CAFE and BAR. Is it worth the visit?

It's Sunday and the weather's so fine. You and your friends are set to look for a chill and serene whereabouts. We decided to check out the newly opened cafe and bar. They started to make a noise around December 2018. Not only ERNESTO CAFE and BAR gives you wintry air, and cute spots where you can pose for your Instagram photos, they also have delightful views while tucking in your mouth their reasonably priced food and taking in their thirst quenchers, or cup of coffee while reading your favorite novel. Is it worth it? LET's check.

COMMUTE or GPS SAVES YOUR DAY

There are options you can take to make it to the venue and riding a jeepney is one. Fare is around 15-20 php . The terminal is found across MOTORMATE, President Quirino Street, Near Maria Reyna. My buddies and I use motorcycle as our mode of transportation and GPS is something we take advantage if we go for a spin within the region. ERNESTO CAFE and BAR is located in Libona, Bukidnon. When you reach Indahag proper (which a familiar place before LIBONA), asking someone from there won't hurt you, BUT GPS can guide you.

As shown in the pic above, just only minutes of travel from the terminal(Motormate, Cagayan de Oro City proper) to Ernesto Cafe and Bar.

ARRIVING THE PLACE

The roadway is very safe for vehicles to pass by. There are no bumpy scrap of roads. And when it's your first time to drop round to see one spot, it can be exciting. Here are the images you can heed arriving at ERNESTO CAFE and BAR.

When you know that you just arrived - this what looks like. You have to go through the parking spaces before reaching the cafe and bar.

ERNESTO CAFE and BAR:

The heart of the place. I like how it was designed. The Filipino home style vibe is present. White is something I'd always appreciate because it gives me this soothing view.

From the parking space, this is the zoomed out look of the Ernesto Cafe and Bar.

And when you finally step inside, on the left corner, it's where you order food.

On the right side, this is what you can see. This can be your IG post for the day with you sitting.

And this is breathtaking... I mean, look at the view. I like that they painted it white outside, and seeing the brown woods inside with the white curtains blown by the wind. I love how they put it up together.

FOOD TRIP

When we explore a new place, what we always hanker after is to find out the cuisine being served. We arrived at the place almost 3 o'clock in the afternoon and time for snacks. So what we did first? Check the MENU.

And you see how they come up with these affordable prices... So we waited for our food to be served.

IT ARRIVED!

We ordered finger foods - Siomai, tempura, and fishballs.

We decided to order both, Chocolate and Strawberry frappe, and it was good.

INSIDE THE CAFE or COTTAGE

We have two types of mood. Either we we want to stay inside, or chill outside. Ernesto offers both choices.

This is inside the Cafe and Bar. You have the choice to stay here and enjoy the beauty of the nature. Or....

Cottage for 7 to 9 people, 150php.. and we opted to have it during our stay.

IS THE PLACE INSTAGRAM WORTHY?

It's 2019 and people would always love to visit nice places where they could take a pic of themselves nicely and post it on their social media. Ernesto Cafe and Bar somehow offer it.

They gathered bamboo woods shaped into triangular form.

When you zip your cup of coffee, it's nice to ask your companion to take a pic for you.

Their cutie looking cottages would give you an EXTRA for your pose.

IS IT REALLY WORTH THE VISIT?

The food, drink and the people who accommodated us, all are worth it. Though Ernesto Cafe and Bar just started the last month of last year- there are still lots of things needed to improve and one is, they need to add on number of cottages, but overall, it's great!
