As you navigate the transition into responsible adulthood, one thing becomes clear: you no longer wish to rely on your parents' approval for a night out or a cozy evening at home, Netflix and mismatched socks included. Looking back, it's evident that we failed to appreciate those moments when our mom went grocery shopping or our dad repaired our bicycles. In truth, these were opportunities to cultivate inner peace, a sentiment shared by those currently grappling with the challenges of "adulting."

The journey of adulting typically commences in one's early twenties, and the prospect of preparing for a job interview can be anxiety-inducing. This often signifies the need for greater independence. Regardless of how meticulously we map out our lives, achieving certain goals precisely can be thwarted by the myriad challenges that adulting presents. Here, we explore some of the hurdles you might encounter and the valuable lessons they can impart.

Taking care of the last PENNY like a BABY until PAY DAY!

Take a moment to consider that having some cash on hand is a lifeline when you're faced with an empty stomach. It becomes more challenging, as even after trimming expenses, it often seems insufficient. When I encounter this predicament, I may pout, shed a few tears, and reach out to my mom. However, it's far from a misguided step. After all, don't we all grow and become adept at managing our finances? This skill serves as valuable preparation for our future businesses.

HEALTH is the real WEALTH.

Just when we've managed to accumulate a sufficient amount of cash for the month, it seems another challenge arises - falling ill. Typically, this situation leads to the decision not to go to work, which, in turn, affects your income.

So, it becomes evident that when experiencing adulting, being in good health translates to wealth, consistently.

WHEN you become the CHEF you don't wanna be!

Late at night, with no nearby 24-hour shops in your vicinity, your stomach begins to grumble, dampening your spirits. I understand, it can be frustrating! You gather whatever food supplies you have and your trusty chopping board. What you prepare is what you enjoy! It's not as disheartening as it may seem. In fact, it's an opportunity to enhance your culinary skills, and it only gets better. Don't quit your day job!

Checking CALENDAR to meet up friends!

We all have our worst days, and the immediate instinct is to seek comfort from our pals.

However, it appears that everyone's schedule doesn't always align with yours. Some may have varying work shifts, or perhaps one of your friends has already made travel plans. Don't fret! Everyone shares the same rollercoaster of emotions. They, too, long for those 24 hours of no responsibilities. And when you opt for a solo stroll, you're gaining a deeper understanding of yourself, which is a positive development, isn't it?

Sleeping is a favorite thing to do.

Our daily routine can be overwhelming. Whether it's selecting items at the grocery store, managing expenses by the hour, or fast-tracking tasks for the week, it can all be quite demanding. Fate often doesn't grant us the luxury of living the day as we desire, but rather compels us to accept what we're destined for: adulting! And when the day concludes, there's only one thing on our minds – sleep. Yes! Sleep! Because the next day brings another round of adulting.

This stage is a shared experience for everyone. Feeling down remains part of the norm. And if a cup of coffee helps you muster the strength, take a sip!
